Hello! My name is Sana, originally from Japan. Growing up surrounded by a world of kawaii, I've nurtured a love for all things kawaii since my childhood.

Since launching as a home-based crafter in 2008, I've been on a remarkable journey from creating kawaii-themed clay charms to becoming a renowned name in the world of squishy toys. My initial venture began with a passion for handcrafting, but as demand soared, I faced the challenge of keeping up due to the time-intensive nature of my work and the physical toll it took. This led me to explore partnerships with suppliers and eventually opened a kiosk at Stonestown mall in San Francisco in 2013, blending my creations with carefully selected goods.

The pursuit of excellence and authenticity in my offerings spurred a pivotal decision to design and produce my own products, coinciding with the rising popularity of squishy toys. Embracing this trend, I ventured into manufacturing, propelling Bunny’s Cafe into international acclaim as a beloved squishy brand. Our shop has since evolved into a one-stop destination for an extensive variety of squishies, along with other kawaii goods, leading to the expansion of our heartfelt presence in Santa Ana, California in 2018 and Harajuku,Tokyo in 2019.

Due to the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic in 2020, we made the difficult decision to close our locations. However, with resilience and the continued support of our community, we triumphantly reopened our doors in San Jose, California, in 2021, ready to welcome back the joy of kawaii to our cherished customers.

Driven by a lifelong mission to spread kawaii culture and happiness, I'm honored to contribute to the vibrant kawaii community. Bunny’s Cafe Gift Shop stands as a testament to this passion, inviting customers to share in the joy and whimsy that kawaii brings to everyday life.
